CNC Parts, Upgrades & Repair ONLINE CENTER

We have included the answers to some commonly asked questions. Please review the information below or call 1-800-GE FANUC (or 1-804-978-6036 international) for assistance.

"How do I find my part number?"

The answer varies depending on the part. We have included some tips below:

PCB - The part number is found on the component side of the board, silk-printed along the edge.

CRT/MDI - The part number is located on the back side of the CRT against the metal frame surrounding the tube.

Motors - Look for the GE Fanuc label. The part number will begin with A06Bxxxxx.

Fuses - You may be able to read the Fuse markings. We can then translate that marking into a GE Fanuc part number

Cables and Batteries - The part numbers are not found on cables and batteries. Call 1-800-GE FANUC (or 1-804-978-6036 international) for assistance.

"What is a customer part number?"

If your company uses a different part number for GE Fanuc products, and if that special part number needs to be on the paperwork in order for your company to receive in the product, enter that customer part number in the space provided.

"Why do I need to provide my PO number to check order status or return a part?"

We use your PO number to identify the order on our system. If you purchased using a credit card, please call the Service Center directly at 1-800-GE FANUC (or 1-804-978-6036 international) for assistance.

"How do I contact the GE Fanuc CNC Service Center by phone or fax?"

PHONE: Call the Service Center directly at 1-800 GE FANUC (or 1-804-978-6036 international) for assistance.

FAX: The Service Center fax number is 804-978-5673.

"What is my Control Type?"

Before a GE Fanuc options specialist can give you a definitive answer regarding the software options, you will need to provide your control type. This is the product family of the control you own.

"Where do I find the control type and serial number for my CNC?"

The control type and serial number are available on the factory "DATA SHEETS" printed when the control was manufactured. This is several sheets containing a list of parts, options, factory parameter settings, software versions, serial number, date manufactured, etc.. This document is very important and should always be kept with the control for future maintenance support.

"Why do you need to know the name of my machine tool builder?"

We can search our database of configurations for each machine tool builder.

 "What is a warranty inquiry?"

This form allows you to check on the warranty status of your GE Fanuc CNC. We will let you know whether the CNC is still within the warranty period and when that period will end.

If you need to place a order for a CNC or parts that are still under warranty, call the Service Center directly at 1-800 GE FANUC (or 1-804-978-6036 international) for assistance.
